On completion of implementation (September 2002), the COPERNICO (Permanent Communication Platform from Manufacturer-Retailer) service centre is operational.
Through COPERNICO, manufacturers, commercial agents and childrenswear retailers are able to communicate on line, for 24 hours of the day, all 365 days of the year.
The COPERNICO platform copernico.cetemmsa.es is accessed via links set up in the ASEPRI web.
The first European platform for electronic commerce in the childrenswear sector is already in existence, with 60 childrenswear retail outlets directly connected to commercial agents and suppliers.
As from January 2004, COPERNICO participation will be open to all interested manufacturers, commercial agents and retailers.

ASEPRI is now managing Phase III of COPERNICO (Permanent Communication Platform from Manufacturer to Retailer), which involves the creation of versions in five languages (German, English, Italian, French and Portuguese) of the electronic ordering system currently available in Spanish.
This initiative will optimise the potential of the COPERNICO platform, as it becomes a viable option for international customers.
